Rainwater Harvesting

Rainwater harvesting is becoming a popular method of collecting and storing rainwater for use domestically.

A simple water butt or tank in the garden can collect enough rainwater to water a garden or wash the car over several months. Redirecting rainwater from a roof to a rainwater harvesting tank can be done above ground or below ground. Larger systems can be plumbed into existing pipework for using the water to wash clothes or flush a toilet.

It has been quoted by the Rainwater Harvesting Association that you could reduce your water consumption by as much as 40%, helping to lower your water bills. So, harvesting water from the rain makes good ecological, as well as economic sense.

    The Aquarius 1209 Underground Rainharvesting System provides up to 1150 litres of descreet, below ground water storage.

    Powered by a 240v, 900w submersible float pump, with a max flow rate of up to 6 m3/h. The pump also has an auto float switch feature.

    Supplied with an internal debris filter which is easily accessed via a removal steel cover (also included).

    The Aquarius System tank head is home to a uniquely designed inlet/outlet intersection, which accomodates the pipework and filter separately, allowing for maximum tank capacity.
